Lovely stay in the black forest. The facility is not the newest but everything works perfectly. Breakfast was good and staff was very kind and helpful. If you have the time ask for the wine tasting paired with dinner.

Very reasonably priced single room. Comfortable and clean. Bar and restaurant both good and the included breakfast was excellent. Everyone was very helpful. The only problem was that the road outside is very noisy with a lot of loud heavy lorries and motorbikes. It was very warm when we were there so we needed to keep the window open (no air conditioning). It would be worth trying to get a room at the back if possible.

Modern place and friendly staff Beautiful getaway for a weekend with three other friends. Price is affordable, and breakfast buffet is great. Room is basic but clean. Overall this place has a homey feeling. Groups, families and little ones are welcome at ‚Der Hirschen‘. Free parking and a Sauna is on offer too.
